Human Rights
Empowering through Human Rights: Inclusion, Diversity & Women’s Rights” — is a 25-hour Erasmus+ course that equips educators and professionals with practical tools to promote equality and social justice. Through interactive workshops, field visits, and collaborative projects, participants explore human rights, inclusion, diversity, and women’s empowerment while developing actionable strategies to apply these principles in their communities and workplaces.
Course options:
20/40 hours: (1 or 2 weeks) Classes from Monday to Friday
25/50 hours: (1 or 2 weeks) Classes from Monday to Friday

Overall objectives of the mobility:
Strengthen understanding of human rights, inclusion, diversity, and women’s empowerment. Enhance professional competence in applying rights-based approaches within educational and organizational contexts. Promote the exchange of knowledge and best practices among European institutions, contributing to higher quality and more socially responsible education.
Added value of the mobility:
Participants gain first-hand insight into local and international human rights initiatives across Spain, enriching their cultural and professional perspective. The experience fosters collaboration, creativity, and inclusivity, inspiring participants to introduce new initiatives and policies within their home institutions.
Expected outcomes and impact:
Exchange of ideas and good practices among educators and professionals across Europe. Strengthened cooperation with partner institutions in the field of social inclusion and equality. Improved intercultural understanding and capacity to integrate human rights education into daily teaching, training, and institutional development.

PROGRAM OPTIONS
20 hours:
Classes from Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 14:00 + 2 afternoon activities included (it is free and optional)
Learning material will be provided first day of class, according to the participants levels.
25 hours:
Classes from Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 14:30 or 10:00 am to 15:00 + 2 afternoon activities included (it is free and optional)

CLASSES and ACTIVITIES
Morning: Classes
Afternoon activities: Guided visit and Historical Route in Gothic and Medieval area in Barcelona, museums... Cultural activities are optional and free.

If the course dates have to be postponed/changed due to an emergency situation, the fees paid will be valid for any other course offered by SpainBcn-Programs during the following 12 months.

You can use any of the financial sources offered by your University, Erasmus+ programs (or private, depending on your possibilities).
This course is included in the Erasmus+ program.
