AGES:
Soccer training is available for boys and girls from 9 to 19-20 years old.  International students, participants both male and female play soccer with groups of Spanish players. The children of our host families also attend the Soccer Camp.
At the camp, players are organized in groups according to their age and soccer skills.
DATES:
From the last week of June through the end of July. Players may join the program for 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks.
Sundays are the arrival and departure days for most of the participants.
DATES OF PROGRAM
The students have to arrive in Barcelona on Sunday or Saturday.
Programs start on Monday so these 2 days of acommodations and meals are already included in the program.
Those students who arrive before Saturday have to pay per the extra night/s of accommodation and day/s of program.
Departure day of the program is Sunday, so those students leaving later have to pay per extra night/s of accommodation and day/s of program.
PROFESSIONAL SOCCER TRAINING
Professional Soccer Camp in Barcelona in a first class facilities.
The Soccer Camp offers professional coaches and fields from one of the official Soccer Clubs of Barcelona. International participants, boys and girls (most are from United States, several from different European countries and some from many other places) join at the field, groups of Spanish soccer players. Most of the Spanish players attend the Soccer training camp every summer. The children of our host families attand the Socer Camp together with the student/s they have at home.
Friendly matches against local players can be arranged during the program .
Every week players receive at the camp 2 T-shirts and pant of Soccer Club to play.
Pick up daily from student's host families accommodation to the Soccer field and back from the Soccer camp, after the training, to SpainBcn school and center of Barcelona.
HOME STAY
Homestay accommodation with carefully selected Spanish families located in the same school area, in the center and in some of the best neighborhoods.
This is a supervised program. Curfews (11:30 pm) will be strictly enforced (please see below).
Accommodation in a students' residence is available for those groups traveling with a coordinator.
Accommodation for groups or families can be customized according to your needs and preferences.
OPTION OF SOCCER PROGRAM

When enrolling in the program choose your Option of Soccer Program according to how many hours of Spanish Course or how many hours of guide visits and cultural ecursions you want to attend during your stay in Barcelona.
Participants of the Soccer Program can enroll for 1,2,3 or 4 as the cultural visits and excursions included in the program are different every week.
New participants join the Spanish course on Monday according to their level of Spanish.

* Those participants who are enrolled in the program for ore than 1 week can change their option of SpainBcn Soccer Program once they are in Barcelona. In that case, the School needs to receive their parents'/tutors' authorization (by e-mail) before the beginning of the next week of program.
SPANISH LESSONS
Spanish lessons are offered at SpainBcn Spanish Language School from Monday through Thrusday (in the morning -from 9:30 am. to 1 pm- and in the afternoon -from 4 pm. to 7:20 pm) for those participants interested in learning or improving their Spanish.
Spanish students are organized in classes according to their level as much as possible (with a minimum group of 5 students).
Spanish students attending the Spanish lessons must be mature and serious in purpose if they want to see an improvement in their level of Spanish.
Professional Spanish Teachers, native of Spain. Learning material included.
Certificate of Studies (upon request).
CULTURAL PROGRAM
In the afternoons from 4 pm. to 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday, there is a complete and fun cultural program that includes a variety of guided visits, entrances to the best museums of Barcelona, guided Historical routes, guided walks to the nicest areas of the city, etc.
Transportations to do the cultural activities and entrances to the museums included.
The Spanish teachers accompany the students during all the activities and excursions included in the program.

The Cultural Program is different every week so those participants who enroll for more than one week see different things and do different activities each week of their program.
DAY EXCURSIONS
The summer program also includes excursion to the beach on Friday and a 1 Day Excursion on Saturdays to visit other intersting locations on the Mediterranean coast. Excursions are different each week.
MEALS
Daily breakfast and dinner are with the host family.
Lunch is served by the school for those students younger than 14 and those who are older but prefer to eat at the school.
( Older students who want to have lunch at school, must inform us a day in advance that they will be eating at school with the younger group the next day)
Picnics and package lunch are prepared by the School for the excursion (Saturdays) and beach days (Fridays).
Breakfast is served around 8:15 am.
Lunch at SpainBcn school, after daily Soccer training is served around 2:15 pm.;
Dinner with the family, is around 8:30 pm.
Excursion days and beach days a package luch is provided by SpainBcn Directors before the excursions.
On Sunday there is not any scheduled activitie in the program, so students have a free day to enjoy by themselves or with their host family. The 3 meals on Sunday are with the host family.
SUPERVISED PROGRAM:
SpainBcn Youth Summer Programs are full supervised: bilingual directors 24/7; the students group is accompanied during all the activities included in the program by the teacher/s and coordinators . Our carefully selected and very nice Spanish host families take good care of SpainBcn students and help us with the supervision.- However, participants must be mature and serious in purpose.-
First medical care is available at the Soccer Camp.
CURFEWS:
Participants are not allowed to be away from their home in Barcelona overnight (after 11,30) and curfews will be strictly enforced. Participants must be mature and well educated.
Students can not go out alone after the curfew and this rule will be stricly enforced by the school and the host family.
A student bad behaviour may then result in the school contacting the parent or guardian to inform them that the parents/guardians must speak with their child directly.
There are some activities that will be organized at night with the School teachers or with the host family.
AUTHORIZATION:
* Those parents or guardians who want to permit their children to go out after the curfew have to send to the school a formal permission slip for their children to go out during the night .
* This authorization will have to release SpainBCN School and the host family from any responsability for those students who want to go out at night.

PROGRAM FEE INCLUDES
1.-) Carefully selected Spanish host family accommodation in Barcelona;
2.-) First class facilities at the Soccer Camp with professional Soccer instruction;
3.-) 2 t-shirts and 1 pant of the Soccer Club per player per each week of program;
4.-) Spanish Course and/or Cultural Program according to the participant's option of Soccer Program;
5.-) Airport transfers (upon request);
6.-) Breakfast and dinner, daily, at the host family, 3 meals on Sunday at the host family and picnic or package-lunch provided by the SpainBcn School for the excursion days and beach days;
7.-) All transportation needed for the Cultural activities, visits and excursions included in the program;
8.-) Supervised program with also Program Directors available for the students 24/7
9.-) Certificate of Studies and Program at the end (upon request).
