Spanish Immersion Program are designed to provide students with an immersion in the Spanish way of life. A homestay program includes scheduled Spanish lessons at SpainBCN, sightseeing and cultural activities during the day, with students returning to their home in the evening. Curfew at 11 pm.
Programs are supervised, good medical care is available, and students live with families who take responsibility for the teens. However, teen participants must be mature and serious in purpose. The students group is accompanied throughout the program by, at least, 1 of the SpainBCN Directors and several SpainBCN teachers.
DATES of Summer Programs
From late May to middle August. New students start their SpainBCN Summer Program in Barcelona every Monday. The students arrive in Barcelona on Sunday or Saturday before the starting date of their SpainBCN Program . These 2 days of acommodations and meals are already included in the cost of the program.
Those students who arrive before Saturday will have to pay per extra night of host family accommodation and/or program.
Inform us about your preferences regarding dates of stay in Barcelona as soon as possible.
Typical Students:
We regularly receive group bookings from all Europe and North America. During the summer most of our students participate in our programs as individuals.
ABOUT SpainBCN School:
Intensive Spanish lessons (4 lessons / day, 1 hour / lesson) of closed group language classes
Free use of Internet / All course materials and registration fees.
Orientation and level test on the first day of class / Certificate of Studies at the end of the program
Afternoon/evening activities plus weekend excursion / all cultural activities included in the programs are supervised for SpainBCN teachers.
HIGHLIGHTS / standard program:
1.-) Mornings, Monday to Friday: Spanish lessons or Cultural program (groups per levels).
2.-) Afternoons, from Monday to Friday :
+ Guided tours: Modernist route in Barcelona, Gaudi's Buildings; + Best museums of Barcelona : Joan Miro', Picasso, MACBA, etc...; + Historical walks around the Old Barcelona
- Optional activities : + Flamenco lessons per groups (all levels) ; + Soccer training (3 mornings per week) + Tennis lessons (3 mornings per week)
3.-) 1 day Excursion (cultural visit and guided rute) on Saturday.
4.-) Homestay or residence-club (carefully selected, breakfast & dinner) Lunch at school
5.-) Pick up service at Barcelona Airport on arrival and departure dates
6.-) Supervised program: SpainBCN teachers acompany the group of students during all the activities included in the program. Bilingual directors are available 24/7.
FOR GROUPS: If you want to organize a group to participate in any of our programs, from 9 students we will offer you the programs and accommodation in Barcelona for free. Customized programs can be also organized. All packages can be modified to suit any groups budget.
